The two chests on each floor are always split into 1 gun and 1 item, so even if you open the blue chest you've only got a coin flip's chance of getting a gun. I had a pretty fun run with Gunslinger so I decided to make this montage thing. If you're the hunter, the crossbow should be good enough to get you through the first boss. Im not sure what can be done about this but Im pretty disappointed.
